Odor Eliminator Additive for Candles fragrance oil

This is the quiet workhorse behind truly clean-smelling candles and air fresheners. Our Odor Eliminator for Candles additive is formulated with 99% Metazene and is designed to tackle odors at the source, not just cover them up. Because it is completely unscented, it gives makers full creative control. Use it on its own for fragrance-free applications, or pair it with your favorite fragrance oils to create custom odor-eliminating candles and air fresheners without altering the scent profile you worked so hard to perfect.

Simple to use and highly versatile, this additive is recommended at 1–2% in candles or air fresheners. It blends seamlessly into your existing formulas and plays well with a wide range of fragrances, making it ideal for everything from pet-friendly products to kitchen, bathroom, or smoke-eliminating lines.

This is about removing what you do not want in the air and leaving a space that truly feels clean.

Usage example: To make a candle with 16oz of wax, you want to use 8% fragrance and 2% odor eliminator. (this is just an example - the #'s can certainly be different if you are used to using a different % of fragrance). On your calculator you would enter 16 (for the # of oz of wax) X 0.08 = 1.28 oz which is the the amount of fragrance to use. Then you would multiply 16 (for # of oz of wax) X 0.02 = 0.32 oz and this is the amount of odor eliminator to use. Add 0.32 oz of odor eliminator to 1.28 oz fragrance and then add to your 16 oz of melted wax using a food scale to weigh all ingredients.

Important note: This product is completely unscented and contains no fragrance notes.
