IGI 4633A Wax | Also Astrolite J223 Wax

IGI 4633A wax was specially formulated as a single pour container wax with excellent cold and hot scent throw.  Recommended pouring temperature is between 145-155 degrees F. Average fragrance load is 8-10%.

Congealing Point: 120-128 degrees F. 

Needle Penetration at 76 degrees = 96-120

Recommended method: Heat to 175-185 degrees F. Remove from heat, add any color. Stir until color is thoroughly dispersed. Bring temp back up to 175-185 if needed. Add desired fragrance and stir gently 1-2 minutes.  Pour between 145-155 degrees F into the prepared vessel.

PLEASE NOTE: There are many methods to make candles. This method is simply a suggestion and may not work for everyone, nor does it mean other methods are wrong. There is a large amount of personal preference in candle-making, so please test this method prior to making large batches.
