Golden Brands 494 Soy Wax | Tart and Melt Soy Wax

Akosoy (GW) 494 wax is a tart/melt wax for use with clamshells or tart molds. This soy wax blend contains plant-based additives designed to reduce frost, improve hot and cold throw, and enhance the ability of the wax to display bright, vivid colors with candle dyes. Finished melts/tarts have a smooth, creamy appearance. Fragrance loads of up to 12% are possible with this wax.

**This wax is recommended only for wickless wax products such as tarts/melts.

Recommendations for Use: Heat wax to 185 degrees F. Add any desired candle dye followed by fragrance. Stir thoroughly. Pour wax slowly into molds between 140-160 degrees F. Cure for at least 1 week for optimal scent throw. 

For best results, we recommend waiting 24 after receiving this product before using.  This will allow the wax to adjust to any differences in temperature and humidity and will help minimize flaws in your finished products.
